The akta.pro List Generation API builds targeted lists of companies using either structured filters or a natural language query, with optional data enrichment for each matching company. It’s the entry point for prospecting, market mapping, and building segmented account lists directly from akta.pro company data index. You pass either a query string or a filters object as the request body, and receive a paginated array of matching companies immediately in the response.

Two ways to build a list

Structured Filters : Apply precise criteria across 10 filter groups (firmographic, business model, financials, location, technology, funding, and more) using exact-match, range, boolean, or nested conditions. Use this when you know exactly which attributes define your target list. For example, “US-based, Series B+ SaaS companies with an API, founded after 2018.” Natural Language Query: Describe your target companies in plain English (e.g. “SaaS companies in the US with Series A funding”) and the API interprets your intent. Use this for quick exploration or when you don’t need to enumerate every filter condition explicitly. query and filters are mutually exclusive. A single request uses one or the other, never both.

What you get back

Each company in the response includes, at minimum, its identity fields:
  • uuid: akta.pro unique identifier for the company
  • name: company name
  • website: company website URL
If you request additional sections, each company object is enriched with structured data blocks such as firmographic, business_model, financial_estimate etc. Read API reference to know more about these. Results are ranked by Akta relevance by default, or can be sorted by revenue, valuation, headcount, total funding, or founded year.

Common use cases

  • Sales prospecting — build a list of companies matching your ideal customer profile (industry, headcount, funding stage, tech stack) for outbound campaigns
  • Market mapping — enumerate every company in a market segment (e.g. “API-first fintech companies in Europe”) to size a market or identify competitors
  • Investor sourcing / deal flow — filter by funding stage, investor, or funding round criteria to surface companies matching an investment thesis
  • Lookalike / expansion targeting — combine firmographic and technology filters to find companies similar to your best customers
  • Enrichment on existing lists — pass a natural language query scoped tightly enough to resolve to specific companies, and pull back enrichment sections in the same call
This API is synchronous. Results are returned directly in the HTTP response. No job submission or polling required. Credits are consumed per enrichment section requested, not per company — a request with no sections costs 0 credits regardless of how many companies match.
